BIRDIES FOR CHARITY!!!!

The Burroughs Community Center is excited to announce our 2012 partnership with the Travelers Championship Birdies for Charity fundraising program!

Birdies for Charity is a pledge based program based on the number of birdies made by the PGA TOUR professionals during tournament week. For example, for a $.01 pledge and 1,500 birdies made, then that individual will be asked to make a donation of $15.00 to Burroughs.  The Travelers Championship will donate 100% of the proceeds to the BCC.

As a donor, you could also win great prizes! Donors have one chance to guess the number of Birdies made during the Travelers Championship. Prizes include a $1,000 cash gift card and 2 tickets to the Ryder Cup!

Our mission is to provide the residents of Bridgeport with program opportunities and facility resources for the purpose of promoting individual growth and community cohesiveness.

We fulfill this through our direct services and by collaborating with community and facility partners. We also do this by connecting people requesting information, programs or forms of aid with agencies in the Greater Bridgeport  community.
